International multimodal status report message

A message to report the transport status and/or a change in the transport status (i.e. event) between agreed parties.

Message description

UNH

M(1) : Message header

A service segment starting and uniquely identifying a message. The message type code for the International multimodal status report message is IFTSTA. Note: International multimodal status report messages conforming to this document must contain the following data in segment UNH, composite S009: Data element 0065 IFTSTA 0052 D 0054 97A 0051 UN

M(1) : Beginning of message

A segment indicating the beginning of a message and identifying the consignment for which status is being reported.

A segment indicating the date of the message.

A segment identifying the transport service relating to the consignment.

A group of segments to specify a party and its associated contacts with communication numbers.

A segment specifying a total for the consignment.

A group of segments to identify a consignment and status details relating to it.
